Getting started

Welcome to the SDS Enterprise Migration Guide.

This guide is for administrators wishing to upgrade their SDS Enterprise 10.x or 11.x agent pool to version 11.4.

The SBox.ini configuration file is no longer used with solution version 11.4.

You can now configure most of the parameters previously contained in this file:

• either in the security policies in .json format,

• or directly in the Windows registry.

The other parameters are now replaced by fixed values in the code, or deleted as obsolete.

See the remainder of this guide for the new locations of these parameters and the Advanced Configuration Guide for how to use them.

A migration tool is also available on request. Please contact the Stormshield Technical Assistance Center.

However, the SBox.ini file is not deleted from the installation folder on the workstations so that you can view your old parameters choices at any time.

In the documentation, Stormshield Data Security Enterprise is referred to in its short form: SDS Enterprise.
