Client Side Encryption

Client-side encryption of data ensures that the data remains encrypted until you actively decrypt it. It is only decrypted when it arrives on the client side.

The Data Encryption Key (DEK):

• DEK is used to encrypt the data.

The Key Encryption Key (KEK):

• KEK is used to encrypt the DEK.
